UPDATED: 4.4 Release Now Available
Release 4.4 will be deployed on Training 7/2/2012 and to Production 7/3/2012.
New Functionality and Enhancements
- Stratified Cost Index: Models are updated to include actual fire costs through the 2011 fire season. During testing, it appears that USFS and BLM costs were usually higher, sometimes significantly so, while other agencies costs were somewhat higher or lower.
- Restore Decision Content to a Previous Version: Incident Owners and Editors create and save previous versions of a decision's content in the decision content database. The WFDSS application creates one or more versions of decision content (by date and time) in the decision content database in order for you retrieve corrupted data and/or rollback and use an earlier content version
- Predictive Services 7-Day Forecast available on the Situation tab. The legend for this product will be provided in a future release.
- LANDFIRE Refresh 2008 has been updated to include: fuel layers for zones 10, 19, 41, 37, 46, 48, 54, 98, and 99 are updated 5/1/12. The fuel layers were updated due to corrected input layers. Updated layers are Canopy Bulk Density (CBD), Canopy Base Height (CBH), Canopy Cover (CC), Canopy Height (CH), Fire Behavior Fuel Models 13/40 (FBFM13/40), and Fuel Characteristic Classification System Fuelbeds (FCCS). Fire Behavior Fuel Models 40 (FBFM40) for Hawaii, zone 79, was updated 6/5/12. The FBFM40 layer was updated due to an updated disturbance layer.
- Disturbance History folder in the Layer tree is added in preparation for the addition of national fuel treatment data layers.
- Release 4.4 includes bugfixes and code that provides the foundation for future enhancements.
