Generating KMZ Files from the Incident List

WFDSS users can generate KMZ files that contain information for all fires in the Incident List. Fire perimeters, completed and accepted analyses, Points of Interest, and items from the most recently published decision (planning areas, M.A.P.s and Incident Obj. shapes) can be included for selection in the KMZ.

To generate KMZ files from the Incident List

1. From the Incident List, click Generate KMZ. The KMZ Incident Download Selection Criteria page appears.
2. Select the appropriate information from the Fire Perimeter section.
3. Select the appropriate information from the Items from the Most Recently Published Decision section.
4. Select the Points of Interest checkbox to generate information for Points of Interest, or leave the checkbox blank if you do not want to generate Points of Interest information.
5. Select the analysis type.
6. Click Continue to generate KMZ files for the specified criteria, or click Return to return to the Incident List page.
