Editing Incident Obj. Shape Associations
As an incident changes, you might need to update the shapes associated with a particular incident objective or management requirement. Incident obj. shapes form a many-to-many relationship with the objectives and requirements. This means that an incident obj. shape can be attached to many incident objectives or incident requirements. An incident objective/incident requirement can be attached to many shapes.
To edit incident obj. shape associations:
- Choose the tab > select the incident > click Assess Situation. The map appears with the selected incident centered on the map.
- Choose >> > select the shape you want to edit associations for. The selected shape appears on the map as a pink outline.
- On the map, click the shape label. The Incident Objectives/Requirements Associated with Shape page appears. All currently associated objectives/requirements are listed.
- Click Edit Shape Associations. The Associate Incident Objectives/Requirements to Shape page appears. The available incident objectives/requirements are listed in the table.
- Mark/unmark the checkboxes for each objective and requirement that you want to edit the shape association.
- Click Save Shape Association(s). A message appears at the top of the page indicating that your associations were saved.
You can edit the associations even after a decision is published. Incident obj. shapes appear pink on the map.
