Changing Your Security Question

Your security question helps to validate your identity in case you need the system or Help Desk to reset your password. This question should be something that only you know the answer to, but can easily remember.

Note: The security question answer is case insensitive.When you incorrectly answer your Security Answer five times, you must wait 30 minutes before requesting a new password reset.

To change your security question:

  1. Login to the appropriate WFDSS application.
  2. Choose My Home > Security Question. The Change Your Security Question and Answer page appears.
  3. Enter the answer to your previous security question.
  4. Select a new security question from the options in the drop-down list.
  5. Enter your response.
  6. Re-enter your response.
  7. Click Save. A message appears confirming that your security question/answer has been changed.
