Changing Your Security Question

Your security question helps to validate your identity in case you need the system or Help Desk to reset your password. This question should be something that only you know the answer to, but can easily remember.

Note: When you enter your security answer, you must type it exactly the way you did when you created the question. In addition, the security questions are separate for Production and Training

To change your security question:

  1. Login to the appropriate WFDSS application.
  2. Choose My Home > Security Question. The Change Your Security Question and Answer page appears.
  3. Enter the answer to your old security question.
  4. Create a new security question.

    Examples of good security questions:

    • What was the name of your first pet?
    • Who was your first grade teacher?
    • What's your favorite national park?
    • What was the name of your first pet?
  5. Enter the response to the question.
  6. Re-enter your response.
  7. Click Change Question and Answer. A message appears confirming that your security question/answer has been changed.

This question will appear whenever you request a password reset for that system. Production and Training have separate security questions.
