Including Analysis Results in a Decision

Incident Owners and Editors can include fire behavior analysis results in a decision document. This is useful when results from fire behavior analyses are used to inform or support decision-making, relative risk assessment, courses of action, and/or rationale. The analysis must be "Accepted" by the Fire Behavior Specialist who completed the analysis before you can include it in a decision.

You can include a graphic of the analysis results, as well as other user-entered analysis information and text outputs, such as the following:

To include analysis results in a decision:

  1. From the Analysis List, select the analysis > click View Results. The Analysis map appears.
  2. From the left pane, choose the Info tab, then scroll down to the Map Capture section.
  3. Create a map capture of the analysis results.

Note: If folders don't exist for FSPro, Basic, STFB, and NTFB, make sure that the analyst who completed the fire behavior analysis "Accepted" the results of the analysis. Unaccepted run inputs and results do not appear in the Incident Content.

When you are done editing the decision document content, you can navigate back to the Decision tab to check-in the pending decision.
