Creating Delegation of Authority Reports
An incident owner or editor can create Delegation of Authority Reports using one of the report templates available in WFDSS. You can copy an existing template, or create a new template. Templates must be ready and available for you to select from in the Template Selection list. You can quickly create a Delegation of Authority Report if you use an existing template. If you would like to create a new template, or copy and edit an existing template for you to use, you will have to do that first (and make it visible) so the template will be available for you to select when you create your Delegation of Authority Report.
To create Delegation of Authority reports:
- From the Incident List, select the incident > click View Information. The Incident Information page appears.
- Select the tab. The Reports list appears.
- Click Create to create an new report.
- Enter a Report Name.
- Choose Delegation of Authority as the Report Type.
- Click Create.
- Select a template from the Template selection list to format your report, and then click Create.
- Review the Report Name for accuracy. If changes are necessary, make those edits and then click Save. Otherwise, click Return to navigate back to the Report List.
- From the report list, you can view, edit, create and download a draft for or publish a report. You can edit reports that show a status of Available. Once reports are published, they can no longer be edited.
