Adding Incident Notes

Incident Authors and Editors can enter incident notes for an incident at any time regardless of whether a decision has been created and/or is in the review process. Incident notes are not required and are not tied to a decision. Incident Notes can be used by Authors and Editors to document and record information about the incident separate from a decision, or before a decision is deemed necessary. Incident Authors and Editors can enter incident notes for an incident any time regardless of whether a decision has been created and/or is in the review process. Incident notes are not required and are not tied to a decision. Incident Notes can be used by Authors and Editors to document WFDSS users regardless of role.

To add Incident Notes:

  1. From the Incident List, select the incident you want to add incident notes for.
  2. Click View Information. The Edit Incident Information page appears. (Incident notes can also be accessed from any of the Incident level tabs (i.e. Objectives, Course of Action, etc.)
  3. From the left hand menu choose Incident Notes. The Incident Notes page appears.
  4. Type or paste incident notes in the box and click Add Note. Add additional notes as needed. Each note is time stamped.

You can edit or delete Notes by selecting the desired note’s radio button and using the Edit or Delete buttons.
