Adding FMUs manually to Incident FMUs

Incident Owners may need to manually associate FMUs to an incident when a unit does not have spatial FMU data within WFDSS or when an owner wants to manually associate an FMU that is outside of a planning area. Manually associating FMUs to an incident is done from the FMU list located on the left-hand menu of the WFDSS Incident tab.

To manually Add FMUs to Incident FMUs:

  1. View the FMU list for an Incident.
  2. Select the Geographic Area, Agency, and Unit that you want to edit FMU codes for.
  3. Review the FMUs for Incident box.
  4. Click next to the FMU you want to add. The FMUs for Unit box appears.
  5. Click the radio button next to the FMU to manually associate.
  6. Click Add FMU to Incident FMUs.

Note: Use the Incident list to manually remove any previously added FMUs by clicking the radio button next to the appropriate FMU and then clicking Remove.
